This is a full-time, temporary (12-18 month) position that is hybrid (1-2 days onsite) with flexibility for fully remote arrangements.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Accounting Manager will oversee key accounting functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely financial reporting. This role provides leadership to accounting staff while supporting reconciliations, audit preparation, and financial analysis. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and comfortable stepping into a leadership role within a dynamic environment. RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversee and review account reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting activities Support and coordinate external audit processes and ensure compliance with GAAP Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing guidance and training Manage treasury-related activities, including bank reconciliations and cash oversight Analyze financial statements and identify areas for improvement or risk mitigation Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support accurate and timely financial operations

QUALIFICATIONS

Strong accounting knowledge, including GAAP principles CPA preferred Experience supervising or mentoring accounting staff Experience with reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statement analysis Familiarity with financial systems such as Oracle, EPIC, or similar platforms is a plus

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $45-$55 per hour, depending on experience, for a 12-18 month assignment. The role provides an opportunity to contribute to a high-impact accounting function while gaining exposure to complex financial operations.
