In this role, you'll oversee day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, month-end and year-end close, and audit coordination. This is a hands-on leadership position that plays a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong internal controls, and supporting business decisions through timely financial insights. You'll work closely with teams across the organization, including operations, FP&A, and treasury, while remaining actively involved in the accounting function and helping drive continued process improvements.

Job Description Accounting Manager Responsibilities:

Own and lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules. Develop monthly financial reporting packages, analyze operating results, and provide explanations for key trends and variances. Maintain the integrity of the general ledger and ensure financial data is accurate and complete. Coordinate annual audit activities, including managing requests, preparing supporting documentation, and serving as a key point of contact for external auditors. Evaluate and enhance accounting procedures, workflows, and internal control processes. Support core accounting areas including inventory, fixed assets, accruals, and other balance sheet and income statement activities. Partner with cross-functional teams across finance and operations to support business initiatives and reporting needs. Drive process improvements and automation opportunities to increase efficiency, accuracy, and scalability within the accounting function. Assist with special projects and other finance and accounting initiatives as needed.
