is a growing CPA and advisory firm serving small and mid-sized businesses across the country. We provide accounting, tax, and fractional CFO services and are looking for a highly organized, proactive Client Operations Associate to work directly with the firm's owner and our accounting team. This is a unique role combining client service, project management, executive support, and light accounting work . It is a great fit for someone early in their career who enjoys working with people, staying organized, and making sure things actually get done. What You'll Do You'll work closely with the firm's Managing Partner and serve as a central point of coordination between our clients and accounting team.
Responsibilities will include:
Communicating directly with clients and following up on outstanding items Managing calendars, meetings, deadlines, and day-to-day priorities Helping manage the Managing Partner's inbox and drafting routine client emails Preparing daily and weekly priority lists and making sure important items don't fall through the cracks Coordinating projects and assignments across the accounting team Managing client onboarding and document requests Maintaining project statuses and deadlines in our practice management system Pulling reports from QuickBooks Online, such as P&Ls, balance sheets, and AR/AP aging reports Assembling client reporting packages and other routine financial information Assisting with billing, proposals, engagement letters, and other firm operations Joining client meetings, taking notes, and turning discussions into clear action items Helping improve processes as the firm grows You do not need to be an experienced accountant. We'll teach you the accounting systems and processes needed for the role. More complex accounting and tax matters are handled by our accounting professionals and CPAs. Who We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is: Extremely organized and detail-oriented Comfortable communicating professionally with clients Proactive and willing to follow up rather than wait for instructions Comfortable keeping other people organized and accountable A strong written communicator Able to prioritize when several things are happening at once Interested in accounting, finance, business, or professional services Comfortable learning new technology and systems A bachelor's degree or upcoming degree in accounting, finance, business, management, or a related field is preferred, but we're more interested in finding someone with the right personality and work style.
