Consolidations Accounting Manager

Ramsey, NJ (Hybrid)

$135-145K + Bonus

This role is responsible for leading the consolidation and preparation of global financial statements across monthly close and forecasting cycles, with accountability for SOX-related controls. You will collaborate closely with senior stakeholders across CAO, FP&A, Tax, and Internal Audit, and serve as a key contributor to enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the accounting-to-report function.

The ideal candidate is a results-driven, collaborative leader with strong communication skills, sound judgment, and a proven ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

Review consolidated global financial statements, including journal entries, account analysis, and supporting documentation. Assist with SEC filings, the Annual Report, and related financial disclosures. Collaborate with Tax, Treasury, and cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues and provide guidance on complex transactions. Oversee intercompany inventory and gross profit eliminations on a global scale. Support external audit processes and maintain compliance with internal controls and SOX requirements. Provide technical accounting guidance on legal entity restructuring, acquisitions, divestitures, and transition service agreements. Identify and lead process improvement and automation initiatives within the accounting-to-report function. Mentor and develop senior analysts through goal-setting, performance evaluations, and continuous feedback. Act as a super user for SAP (BPC) and contribute to special projects as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting. 6-10 years of experience in public accounting and/or consolidations or general accounting. Demonstrated experience with consolidated financial statement preparation and analysis. Supervisory experience, whether direct or indirect. Strong technical accounting knowledge and analytical capabilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

CPA certification (active or in progress). Experience with SAP, BPC, Power BI, Alteryx, or ServiceNow. Background in a large, publicly traded multinational organization.
