AO & CO Curated Interiors By Ana, a growing luxury residential interior design firm based in Naples, is seeking an experienced Part-Time Controller / Accounting Manager to oversee the day-to-day financial and accounting functions of the business. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys working with a small, growing company and can help establish strong accounting processes as the firm continues to expand.

Responsibilities:

Oversee bookkeeping, accounts payable and accounts receivable Manage client invoicing, payments, deposits, and vendor payments Perform bank and credit card reconciliations Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with cash-flow management Track project-related revenue, expenses, and profitability Coordinate with outside CPA for tax preparation and filings Assist with payroll and contractor-related accounting as needed Help develop and maintain efficient accounting procedures and internal controls

Qualifications:

Previous accounting management, Controller, or senior bookkeeping experience Strong QuickBooks experience Experience with Design Manager software is highly preferred Experience with interior design, construction, architecture, or other project-based businesses is strongly preferred Understanding of project accounting, client deposits, purchasing, vendor payments, and sales tax Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality

Schedule:

Part-time, approximately 10-15 hours per week to start, with flexibility as the company grows.

Compensation:

$35-$50 per hour, based on experience.

Location:

Naples, Florida. Preference for someone local who can work with the team in person as needed. AO & CO is looking for someone interested in developing a long-term relationship with the firm and becoming a trusted part of the team as we continue to grow.
