A Quality Facility Services (AQFS) is looking for a Controller / Accounting Manager to take ownership of our day-to-day accounting operations and play an important role in the continued growth of the company. This is not a position where you will simply be another number in a large organization. You will have a voice, your ideas will be heard, and you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in how the company operates and grows. This is a hands-on position. You will be involved in the accounting function while also helping improve processes, strengthen financial reporting, and support the continued growth of the company. This is a hands-on position where you will both perform and oversee core accounting functions. Manage and perform accounts payable and accounts receivable Reconcile bank statements and cash accounts Prepare general ledger entries and month-end adjustments Assist with payroll processing and accuracy checks Support monthly financial reporting and account reconciliations Assist with audit preparation and financial documentation Maintain organized and accurate financial records Support accounting and finance projects Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and efficiency Help ensure the accuracy and integrity of the company's financial information Take ownership of day-to-day accounting operations and processes What We're Looking For 5+ years of progressive accounting experience Experience taking ownership of day-to-day accounting operations Accounting Manager, Assistant Controller, Controller, Senior Accountant, or similar experience preferred Strong Excel and accounting software skills Excellent attention to detail and organization Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work independently while collaborating with the team Willingness and ability to remain hands-on with day-to-day accounting responsibilities Bachelor's or Associate's degree in accounting, finance, or business preferred Experience in public accounting or a CPA firm is a plus, but not required Why This Opportunity Is Different At AQFS, you won't just be filling a position — you'll have an opportunity to help shape the future of the company.
