What the Fast Track looks likeStart as a Financial Professional Fast Track candidates begin as Financial Professionals so they can learn the business firsthand before leading others in it. You'll receive training, coaching, resources and tools while learning how to: Build and develop client relationships Prospect and grow a client base Help individuals, families and businesses work toward their financial goals Develop your own financial practice Build a professional network Manage activity and performance Develop the skills necessary to coach and lead others New York Life provides training in areas including marketing, business development, customer relationship management, communication and recruiting, along with digital sales, prospecting and marketing tools. Accelerate toward management The goal of the Fast Track program is management and team building . Once you've met the applicable production, licensing and program requirements, you'll become eligible to progress toward the Associate Partner role and begin specialized management development. As you progress into management, your focus expands beyond your individual practice to: Recruiting talented Financial Professionals Coaching and developing others Building and leading a high-performing team Creating a culture of accountability and growth Helping others develop successful practices Developing future leaders Driving the performance of your organization Rather than simply building a book of business, the long-term opportunity is to build an organization. A different kind of career path This is not a traditional salaried management position , and candidates are not hired directly into management. You begin by learning the Financial Professional business yourself. That includes developing relationships, acquiring clients and building a practice. Your progression toward management depends on satisfying applicable performance, production, licensing and program requirements. Training, tools and support New York Life invests in the development of its Financial Professionals through training, coaching and business-building resources. You'll have access to: Professional training and development Coaching and mentorship Digital prospecting and marketing tools Business-development resources Product consultants and subject-matter experts Leadership and management development opportunities A broad range of insurance and financial solutions New York Life and its subsidiaries provide products and solutions including life insurance, annuities, long-term care insurance, disability income insurance and investment products. Applicable licenses and FINRA registrations are required before offering securities and investment products. Compensation and growth The Financial Professional career is performance-based and commission-driven . Income is not guaranteed and actual earnings depend on individual sales results. New York Life reports that in 2025, the average income of Financial Professionals operating under the N8 and N9 Agent's Contracts who met annual minimum sales production requirements was $128,621 . Historical income information is provided for informational purposes only and does not guarantee future earnings. New Financial Professionals currently enter under the applicable current Agent's Contract. As qualified individuals progress into field management, the compensation structure changes and may include salary and performance-based compensation according to the applicable management compensation program. Our selection process We're intentional about who advances through the Fast Track selection process. Applicants selected for initial consideration will first be asked to complete a Candidate Assessment Profile (CAP) .

Takes approximately 20-25 minutes Uses a "more like me / less like me" questionnaire format Helps evaluate characteristics associated with success in the Financial Professional career Must be completed before an initial screening interview is scheduled Candidates who meet the applicable threshold will be contacted regarding the next step in the interview process.
