About The Role:
The Manager, Accounting of Reporting and Technical Accounting is a high-impact role supporting the Global Arclin controllership function, with primary responsibility for external reporting, technical accounting, and global consolidations, along with defined financial close and account reconciliation responsibilities. The position reports to the Director, Reporting and Technical Accounting and interacts regularly with senior management across the organization. This role carries direct accountability for the completeness and accuracy of reported results within its areas of responsibility, including the integrity of consolidated financial information, supporting reconciliations, and related disclosures. The Manager will also help design and implement scalable, well-controlled processes capable of supporting a global organization operating across multiple distinct ERP systems and an expanded portfolio of businesses. The ideal candidate is a CPA with strong technical accounting depth and the ability to partner cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.KEY RESPONSIBILTIES
External Reporting- Prepare, review, and coordinate external financial statements, footnote disclosures, and supporting schedules, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency across all reported information.
- Own and adhere to the external reporting calendar, coordinating deliverables and information flow across corporate accounting, business unit finance teams, external auditors, and other internal stakeholders.
- Perform analytical review of consolidated results and disclosures to identify unusual trends, variances, or errors prior to reporting.
- Maintain complete, well-organized documentation and audit-ready support for all reported balances and disclosures. Technical Accounting and Policy
- Serve as a subject matter resource on U.S. GAAP and other technical accounting matters for the corporate accounting group and the broader finance organization.
- Evaluate and document the accounting for complex and non-routine transactions, preparing clear, well-supported technical accounting memoranda and conclusions.
- Monitor, interpret, and implement new accounting guidance (ASUs), including impact assessments, transition planning, and resulting disclosure requirements.
- Develop, maintain, and communicate accounting policies to promote consistent application across all locations and business units. Consolidations
- Manage global consolidation activities, including intercompany eliminations, foreign currency translation, equity roll-forwards, and top-side consolidation entries.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of consolidated results across multiple legal entities, currencies, and ERP environments, resolving reconciling items on a timely basis.
- Support the design, standardization, and ongoing enhancement of the consolidation process and related reporting hierarchies as the organization evolves. Financial Close, Reconciliations, and Controls
- Execute and review assigned month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities in accordance with the established close calendar.
- Manage complex accounting areas, including the accounting for and reconciliation of goodwill, intangible assets, debt, derivative, and equity accounts.
- Ensure account reconciliations are complete, accurate, adequately supported, and reviewed timely, with prompt resolution of identified differences.
- Ensure the integrity of financial reporting and compliance with all company policies and internal control requirements, maintaining effective controls over assigned processes.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline and shorten the reporting cycle without compromising accuracy or control. Systems and Business Partnership
- Assist in the implementation and ongoing maintenance of Workiva to support internal and external reporting.
- Partner cross-functionally with treasury, tax, legal, financial planning and analysis, information technology, and business unit finance teams to obtain and validate reporting inputs.
- Support external auditors through timely, complete, and well-documented responses to requests. Key Competencies

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- MBA is a strongly preferred
- Active CPA license is required.
- 6+ Years of experience - Three+ years of public accounting experience and three+ years of corporate accounting experience.
- Proficiency in U.S. GAAP, external financial reporting, consolidations, and internal controls compliance is essential.
- Experience supporting a global, multi-entity organization operating in multiple currencies and ERP environments is preferred.
- Strong analytical, research, and technical writing skills.
