Key Responsibilities of the Manager of Revenue Accounting
- Review and interpret contracts to ensure proper revenue recognition under ASC 606
- Manage month-end close for assigned revenue streams, including reconciliations, journal entries, and variance analysis
- Oversee data mapping, transformation, and validation across financial systems
- Ensure accurate integration of revenue data within ERP systems
- Support automation initiatives and process improvements within revenue accounting
- Serve as a key contact during external audits and support audit requests
- Partner cross-functionally with accounting, FP&A, tax, legal, and operational teams Qualifications for the Manager of Revenue Accounting
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with a focus on revenue accounting
- Strong knowledge of ASC 606 and contract-based revenue recognition
- CPA or CPA-eligible preferred
- Public accounting experience and prior leadership exposure a plus
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (Workday preferred)
