Job Description
The Behavioral Center of Michigan, an accredited psychiatric hospital providing high levels of psychiatric care to adult patients and committed to person focused care is looking for a Revenue Cycle Director to be responsible for ensuring the medically related billing and reimbursement of the patients are met and maintained on an individual basis in accordance with policies and procedures, and current TJC, federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations. The Director is responsible for maximizing the collection of medical services payments and reimbursements from patients, insurance carriers, financial aid, and guarantors. Also responsible for insurance eligibility processes, charge processing, claim submission and processing, payment processing, collections and accounts receivable management, denial management, reporting of results and analysis, concurrent and retrospective auditing, identifying credentialing issues, insurance contract review and oversight, customer service relative to revenue cycle, training and development relative to revenue cycle, analytics, and all other revenue cycle management activities.
