full-time US Division of a multi-national Infrastructure corporation is hiring a Senior Manager, Accounting & Finance in its regional HQ office. This person will manage a team of several staff in multiple locations, including 2 manager-level direct reports. While a significant portion of duties for this position will involve team leadership (i.e. hiring, training, development, review, and mentorship of staff), the hands-on duties will include a mixture of Accounting, FP&A, and Reporting. Please note that this is a hybrid / partially-remote role which will require 2-to-3 days per week at the company's office location in Round Rock, TX. Specific job duties will include, although not be limited to: Leading the preparation of budgets, forecasts, analysis, and consolidated reporting for US operations. Providing full-cycle accounting oversight for US operations and other related commercial activity, while managing a team of Accounting staff. Preparation of accurate and timely financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, including notes, disclosures, and supporting schedules. Serving as the point-person for US Operations budget oversight, while spearheading investigations & analysis into significant variances or fluctuations, and identifying future deviations from forecast or other financial projections. Oversight and maintenance of high-quality internal controls, including compliance with SOX requirements. Reviewing the project accounting function for new and ongoing projects, while monitoring project finance metrics and project status reports. Ensuring project compliance with contracts, joint-venture terms, and other regulatory standards. Performing in-depth review of contracts with vendors, suppliers, key clients and customers, business partners, and other third parties in order to ensure accurate financial planning & reporting, accounting treatment, and general compliance, while identifying unusual terms and other risk factors. Serving as a strategic but hands-on leader of a 7-8 person team located in multiple offices (managing both on-site and remotely), while continuing to develop the team through effective hiring & training, along with review, mentorship, and other professional growth strategies. To be considered, candidates should possess the following qualifications: 10+ years of progressive Accounting & Finance experience, including at least 4 years of managerial experience. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required. CPA license is required, or Chartered Accountant designation (CA). Prior experience within a relevant industry such as Infrastructure, Utilities, Construction, Engineering, Energy Services, etc. is strongly preferred. Proven mixture of corporate Accounting, FP&A, and Reporting is needed, with solid GAAP knowledge, strong Finance aptitude, and ERP systems skills. Previous background working for a large or mid-sized company is needed. Experience with a public company is a plus. Strong team leadership skills are needed, with previous experience managing a team with multiple direct reports. Outstanding communication & interpersonal skills, with strong presentation and a high degree of professionalism.
