• 90/hour DOE CV Resources is partnering with a rapidly growing global technology organization to identify a hands-on Technical Accounting Manager consultant to support a complex, international accounting environment.

This is a high-impact opportunity for a strong technical accounting professional who thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments and can independently lead technical accounting assessments, support audit initiatives, and help strengthen accounting processes and controls. This role has the potential to convert to full-time employment. Position Overview The Technical Accounting Manager will serve as a key resource supporting complex accounting matters across a global, multi-entity organization. This individual will partner closely with Accounting, Finance, Legal, FP&A, Sales Operations, and external auditors to evaluate accounting treatment, support revenue operations, prepare technical accounting documentation, and ensure compliance with

U.S. GAAP.

The ideal candidate has a strong public accounting foundation, deep technical accounting expertise, and significant SaaS/software revenue recognition experience within a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Lead technical accounting assessments and accounting research for complex transactions and operational accounting matters Own and support revenue recognition activities under ASC 606 within a SaaS/software environment Review customer contracts and evaluate revenue recognition implications Prepare technical accounting memos, accounting position papers, and supporting documentation under

U.S. GAAP

Evaluate and support accounting treatment related to: Revenue recognition (ASC 606) Commissions / ASC 340 Lease accounting (ASC 842) Equity / stock compensation Partner cross-functionally with Accounting, Finance, Legal, Sales Operations, and FP&A to support contract analysis and accounting treatment Lead or support month-end close activities related to revenue, including journal entries, reconciliations, deferred revenue accounting, and reporting Support external audit activities, including: Financial statement preparation Footnote disclosures Audit schedules and supporting documentation Help strengthen internal controls, documentation standards, and accounting processes Assist with special projects, process improvements, and accounting transformation initiatives Support accounting operations and reporting within a

environment Qualifications 5+ years of public accounting experience required (Big 4 or large regional preferred) 8+ years of progressive accounting, revenue accounting, and technical accounting experience preferred Strong SaaS/software revenue recognition experience required Deep understanding of

ASC 606, ASC 340, ASC

842, and equity accounting Experience drafting technical accounting memos and accounting position papers Experience supporting audits, financial statements, and disclosures Experience in multi-entity and international environments strongly preferred Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment CPA required Systems & Tools

SAP S/4HANA
