Accounting Manager - Treasury & Cash Management

Key Responsibilities:

Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including preparation of journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and financial analysis Manage daily cash and asset reconciliation activities across multiple accounts, platforms, and custodial relationships Investigate and resolve reconciliation discrepancies, exceptions, and aged items in accordance with internal policies and regulatory standards Ensure accuracy and compliance of financial reporting in alignment with U.S. GAAP and internal control frameworks Maintain and strengthen a SOX-compliant control environment across accounting and reconciliation functions Collaborate with Treasury, FP&A, and business leaders to support financial reporting, forecasting, and key operational initiatives Lead, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals, fostering accountability and high performance under tight deadlines Champion process improvements and automation efforts to drive efficiency, scalability, and data integrity Support internal and external audits, regulatory reporting requirements, and enterprise transformation initiatives

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Financ CPA or MBA preferred 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within financial services or a complex, regulated environment Strong foundation in U.S. GAAP, financial close, and internal controls (SOX/ICFR) Experience overseeing cash management, reconciliations, or high-volume transactional accounting processe Demonstrated leadership experience managing or mentoring accounting team Advanced Excel skills and experience with large ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, or similar) Ability to operate in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with stron g attention to detail Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
