What your future day will look like: Record and reconcile daily financial transactions related to floor plan financing activities. Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure accuracy of financial data. Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions. Monitor customer accounts and investigate discrepancies. Reconcile bank accounts, inventory financing balances, interest income, and loan portfolios. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and supporting schedules. Assist with month-end and year-end close processes. Calculate, track, and reconcile accrued interest, fees, and financing charges. Analyze account activity and prepare variance reports for management. Support internal and external audits by providing requested documentation and explanations. Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and applicable financial regulations. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting. Monitor inventory audits and verify financed units against accounting records. Collaborate with operations, collections, and sales teams to resolve account issues. Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls.
