Accounting Manager On-site - Watertown, SD Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates who are moving to join our team. Schedule Full-time, Monday-Friday during standard business hours. Occasional additional hours may be required during month-end, year-end, audit, or budgeting cycles.
Salary Range:

What You'll Do Lead the day-to-day accounting function and provide guidance to the accounting team. Deliver accurate monthly financial statements and reports that support sound business decisions. Partner with company leadership on budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial planning. Oversee accounts payable, payroll, tax reporting, and compliance activities. Coordinate annual audits and work with external financial partners and government agencies as needed. Evaluate and improve accounting processes, internal controls, and financial reporting practices. Develop accounting policies that support efficiency, accuracy, and long-term business growth. Serve as a trusted financial advisor to company leadership by providing timely analysis and recommendations. What We're Looking For Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field. Five or more years of progressive accounting experience. Previous experience leading or supervising an accounting team. Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and accounting principles. Experience overseeing month-end and year-end close processes. Knowledge of payroll, accounts payable, tax reporting, and regulatory compliance. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to build relationships across departments and communicate financial information to non-financial leaders. Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Preferred Qualifications Manufacturing industry experience. Experience leading process improvement initiatives. Experience supporting executive leadership with strategic financial planning.
