Finance Manager

Description Our client is seeking a Finance Manager on a contract basis to support financial planning, reporting, and business decision‑making. This onsite role in the Brentwood area will partner closely with leadership and operational teams, providing financial insights, analysis, and oversight in a fast‑paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities + Analyze financial results, trends, and key performance indicators, providing insights and recommendations to leadership + Oversee preparation and review of management reporting, dashboards, and financial analysis + Partner with cross‑functional teams to support strategic initiatives and operational decisions + Monitor departmental performance against budget and forecast + Support month‑end close processes in collaboration with accounting, ensuring financial accuracy and consistency + Assist with process improvements related to forecasting, reporting, and financial controls + Prepare ad hoc financial models, analyses, and presentations for senior stakeholders Requirements + Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field + 6+ years of progressive finance experience, including budgeting and forecasting + Prior experience supporting or partnering with senior leadership + Strong analytical, modeling, and financial reporting skills + Advanced Excel skills; experience with dashboards or BI tools a plus + Ability to work onsite and manage multiple priorities independently + Strong communication skills with the ability to translate financial data into business insights + Contract or interim experience preferred
