FP&A Intern - Summer 2027
Job Description
FP&A Intern This full-time internship will run from May 24 through July 31, 2027, and will be based at SERVPRO Corporate Headquarters in Gallatin, Tennessee. The position pays $20.00 per hour. Please note that housing, relocation assistance, and other accommodations are not provided by the Company. Job Summary The FP&A Intern's goal is to gain an understanding of financial planning and analysis within the SERVPRO organization. Through hands-on experience with the FP&A team, the FP&A intern will learn how financial insights support business decision-making, forecasting, budgeting, and performance management. Through interning with our FP&A team, the intern will obtain an understanding of business drivers and industry trends. The FP&A Intern will work closely with experienced professionals who are committed to their growth and development. You will Participate in weekly intern activities as scheduled and assigned. Attend team meetings and department events. Shadow FP&A team members to learn financial planning, forecasting, and reporting processes. Assist with monthly forecasting, annual budgeting, and financial reporting activities. Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. Support the preparation of management reports, dashboards, and executive presentations. Partner with business leaders and cross-functional teams to gather information and support financial analysis. Contribute to process improvement initiatives related to reporting, forecasting, and financial data management. Participate in special projects assigned by supervisors. You have Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial and operational data. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Experience with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or financial modeling is a plus. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment. Demonstrated curiosity, initiative, and willingness to learn. Education High School diploma or equivalent is required. Must be currently enrolled in college, pursuing an undergraduate degree in finance, economics, management information systems or a related field.
