This will require managing various distinct entities out of thier corporate office, this role is critical for providing high-level oversight, mentorship to staff, and ensuring the integrity of complex financial reporting.

Multi-Entity Oversight:

Manage the full-cycle accounting and financial reporting for a number of entities, ensuring accuracy across various industries.

Leadership & Review:

Provide direct oversight and technical review for Staff Level II accountants and AP specialists; serve as the "final eye" on financial outputs.

Project Accounting:

Handle complex construction accounting tasks, including Work-in-Progress (WIP) reports, Percentage of Completion (POC), and AIA Billing.

Financial Analysis:

Perform deep-dive P&L analysis and interpret complex lease agreements to ensure proper revenue recognition and compliance.

qualifications:

Experience:

5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably with a background in Construction or Property Management.

Technical Proficiency:

Must be an Advanced Excel user (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, complex formulas) and possess the ability to quickly learn new ERP systems.

Industry Knowledge:

Strong understanding of Cost Accounting and the ability to read and interpret legal/lease documents.

Audit Readiness:

Proven track record of maintaining clean books and meeting year-end audit deadlines.

Communication:

Ability to collaborate effectively with leadership and mentor junior staff in a fast-paced environment.
