What You'll Do - You'll Make the Moment Strategic Support to the VP - Finance Act as a thought partner to the VP of Finance and CFO, assisting in the development and execution of department strategy and key initiatives. Drive the annual financial planning process and assist in setting departmental goals and KPIs. Prepare presentations, reports, and other materials for the CFO's internal and external communications. Consolidated Budgeting and Financial Reporting Own and oversee the corporate budgeting process from planning through execution, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals. Collaborate with various departments to consolidate budget inputs and monitor performance against budgeted targets. Analyze budget variances, provide actionable insights, and recommend adjustments to support financial health and operational excellence. Provide detailed financial analysis and commentary on consolidated financial results to support strategic decision-making by senior leadership. Communication and Stakeholder Management Act as a key communication point between the CFO and other executives, department leaders, and external partners. Facilitate effective information flow within the finance team and promote transparency. Team Development and Culture Support the professional growth of the finance team, providing mentorship and career guidance. Foster a collaborative and positive team culture, promoting diversity and inclusion. Organize team meetings, off-sites, and professional development programs. Education Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or CPA is preferred.
Experience:
2+ years in finance, consulting, or strategic operations, with a strong financial acumen.Skills:
Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills. Excellent organizational abilities, with a focus on attention to detail. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience creating executive-level presentations. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines effectively. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization. Proficiency in financial analysis and understanding of financial processes and systems.
