Job Description

We are looking for an Accounting Office Manager to support daily financial operations and oversee key office functions for a growing team in Texas. This contract opportunity has the potential to become permanent and is ideal for someone who can balance hands-on accounting responsibilities with administrative coordination and strong customer support. The role will focus on maintaining accurate financial records, managing billing and job cost activity, and helping keep office operations organized and efficient.
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee full-cycle accounting activities, including daily transaction review, ledger maintenance, and period-end financial tasks.
  • Prepare and process time and materials billing with a strong focus on accuracy, timeliness, and customer account support.
  • Monitor job cost details to help track project expenses, billing alignment, and overall financial performance.
  • Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice processing, payment tracking, and collections follow-up.
  • Complete account reconciliations, post journal entries, and assist with month-end close activities to ensure reliable reporting.
  • Support financial statement review and audit preparation by organizing records and maintaining complete documentation.
  • Provide responsive customer service related to billing questions, payment issues, and account updates.
  • Manage office administrative responsibilities such as coordinating records, maintaining organized files, and supporting day-to-day office workflow.
