Position Summary We are hiring an Acquisitions Lead to own deal sourcing and pipeline execution across Texas. This is a high-visibility, high-impact role on a proven, institutionally-backed platform in full growth mode. This individual will be responsible for sourcing, underwriting, and executing new investment opportunities, while playing a key role in shaping investment strategy and maintaining key broker and industry relationships. The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, highly driven, and possesses deep market knowledge and relationships within the Texas multifamily ecosystem. Acquisitions Responsibilities Screen potential investment opportunities and identify off-market target opportunities. Develop and maintain strong relationships with brokers, owners, and industry participants to generate proprietary and off-market opportunities. Actively track market dynamics, submarket trends, and competitive landscape to maintain a proprietary target database. Lead the evaluation of investment opportunities from initial screening through closing. Build and review detailed financial models, business plans, and return analyses. Present investment opportunities to senior leadership, investment committee, and the firm's limited partners. Negotiate purchase agreements and coordinate transaction execution. Oversee all aspects of the due diligence process, including physical, financial, and legal review. Coordinate with internal team members and external partners (lenders, brokers, consultants, property management). Drive transactions to closing in an accurate, timely and efficient manner. Strategic Responsibilities Collaborate with asset management team to ensure alignment between acquisition underwriting and business plan execution. Provide market insights to inform portfolio strategy and capital deployment decisions. Contribute to fundraising and investor discussions as needed. Required Qualifications Investor-first mindset and a cradle-to-grave mentality. Demonstrated track record of sourcing and closing Texas multifamily transactions. Strong relationships within the Dallas-Fort Worth and Texas multifamily community. Advanced financial modeling and underwriting skills. Detailed knowledge of value-add business plans and operational execution. Ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
