Corporate FP&A Senior Analyst/Manager Company Overview NCS is a leading industrial products, services and technology company whose primary end-market is car wash operators. NCS provides a full suite of manufactured equipment, installation project services, aftermarket parts and services, chemicals (detergents, protectants, etc.), and software. More specifically with equipment, NCS provides tunnel equipment, IBA (In Bay Automatic), vacuums, dryers, water systems, doors, signage, arches, and related components. NCS also sells a range of brands - on both equipment, chemicals and software today - including Armor All, Rain-X, Blue Coral, TSS, VacuTech, NCS, AMP, etc. The company sells primarily in N. America, operates 6 manufacturing plants across N. America, and has ~1600+ employees. The Company operates numerous Distribution Centers and has sales/HQ offices across N. America, with its primary corporate offices in Des Moines, Iowa and Dallas, TX. NCS is currently owned by Berkshire Partners, a leading Boston-based PE firm We are interested in every qualified candidate who is eligible to work in the United States. POSITION SUMMARY NCS
is looking for a key financial planning & analysis (FP&A) senior analyst or junior manager to help support the company's growth, margin and liquidity goals. This position will help support key activities including forecasting, budgeting, reporting (variance and trending analysis, etc.), cost savings programs, developing strategic and board level presentations, evaluating key business trends, supporting key projects, managing and forecasting liquidity, pricing and costing analysis, among others. This FP&A role will support both corporate level and divisional level FP&A tasks. This is an incredible learning opportunity for an up-and-coming finance analyst looking to learn, contribute under a seasoned executive and finance leadership team.ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, and expenses.
- Monitor performance indicators, highlight trends and analyze root causes of unexpected variance and work with respective leaders to develop, implement and track corrective actions needed to return the business to operating targets.
- Provide ad-hoc reporting and in-depth analysis to support the Senior Management Team and department heads.
- Leverage CRM and operational data to support sales pipeline reporting, bookings-to-revenue bridge analysis, and commercial forecasting
- Support the preparation of all monthly and quarterly financial reports and related presentations to the Board of Directors and Senior Management Teams.
- Support the coordination of the annual budgeting process. Gathering critical budget information and working with divisional stakeholders and participating in budget review sessions.
- Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives.
- Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes.
- Work cross functionally to develop accurate forecasts, while understanding key drivers and execution risk associated with them.
- Drive continuous improvement in finance processes, tools, and reporting by simplifying and standardizing workflows and enhancing data visibility.
- Partner and develop strong working relationships with various internal business unit heads to provide financial analysis and forecasting to support the business.
