TheFinance Managersupports and oversees the financial operations of the Liberty Hill Public Library, including bookkeeping, accounts payable (processing and paying bills), budgeting, and financial reporting, while ensuring accuracy and compliance. This hands-on role also assists with daily office operations. Working under the Library Director, the Finance Manager provides financial information, analysis, and recommendations to support decision-making in a small, community-focused library.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Oversee all financial and accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, general ledger, and cash management. Collaborate with the Library Director to develop and monitor the annual budget. Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with governmental accounting, auditing, and reporting standards. Prepare and present financial reports for library leadership and the Board of Trustees. Manage month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting. Provide cash flow projections, financial analysis, and recommendations to support decision-making. Establish internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure fiscal integrity and coordinate the annual audit with external auditors.
