Job Summary:
The Supervisor position is responsible for managing the specific Rev Cycle team which may include authorizations, billing, collections, or cash posting. This position also provides input and development of the overall goal of continuously improving the revenue cycle process.
Essential Functions:
Supervise team on daily tasks. Handles disciplinary actions when necessary. Consults with Manager on any changes to the department Assists with development and implementation of revenue cycle strategies, processes, and improvements. Monitors workflow and addresses issues with team as they arise. Ensure compliance with all aspects of RCM activities including billing rules and regulations by payer and state. Work with staff to meet goals, objectives and adhere to guidelines. Identify workflow and efficiency opportunities.
Additional Responsibilities:
Performs other duties as assigned or requested. Conforms to all applicable Agency policies and procedures. Participates actively in continuing education and in-services. Maintains confidentiality of patient information and business trade practices Knowledge / Skills /
Abilities:

Minimum Position Qualifications:
Education:
High School Education or GED Experience:
Minimum 2 year of medical back-office experience, preferably in Home Health or Hospice. License /
Certification:
Driver's license and proof of current auto liability insurance; no listing in the OIG Excluded Provider listing
Environmental Conditions:
Works under a variety of conditions in facilities and offices; ability to work flexible schedule, ability to travel locally; some exposure to unpleasant weather. Moderate noise level; moderate stress and emotional demands.
Physical Requirements:
Sitting is required. Requires ability to always handle stressful situations in a calm and courteous manner. Requires working under some stressful conditions to meet deadlines and agency needs. Occasionally lift/carry items weighing up to 25lbs. Ability to travel. The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.
