Salary:
$130,000 - $155,000Founded in the early 2000s, we are a growing mid-sized industrial organization supporting multiple manufacturing and field service operations across the region. We produce a mix of fabricated products and equipment used in energy and infrastructure markets. As we continue to scale, we are elevating our financial leadership structure and seeking a Controller to oversee all accounting operations, strengthen financial controls, and drive reporting accuracy across a multi-segment manufacturing environment.

What You Will Be DoingLead all accounting operations, including monthly close, financial reporting, internal controls, and compliance across multiple business unitsOversee job costing accuracy for labor, materials, overhead, WIP, and project-based revenue recognitionDirect inventory accounting, cycle counts, material flow visibility, and cost-of-goods accuracy in partnership with operations and supply chainManage AR/AP, billing, collections, cash applications, and working capital performanceOwn cash flow forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and financial planning activitiesEnsure timely and accurate ERP-driven reporting, dashboards, and performance insights for leadershipSupervise and develop the accounting team, including staff accountants, AP/AR personnel, and cost accounting resourcesMaintain GAAP compliance, support external audits, and strengthen internal control frameworksPartner with executive leadership on financial strategy, capital planning, and operational decision-makingLead continuous improvement initiatives across accounting processes, systems, and reporting toolsWhat You Need for This Position7+ years of progressive accounting experience in manufacturing, fabrication, EPC, or construction environmentsStrong knowledge of job costing, inventory accounting, WIP, and multi-entity financial reportingAdvanced Excel skills and experience with manufacturing ERP systemsProven ability to lead accounting teams and operate in a fast-growth, hands-on environmentExperience partnering with operations, supply chain, and production teamsStrong understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and audit processesPower BI or similar reporting tools preferredWhat's In It for YouFull Benefits Package (Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, LTD/STD, 401k w/ matching) and more!
