Automotive Finance Manager — Round Rock, Texas A prominent automotive dealership group in the Round Rock, TX area is seeking an experienced Automotive Finance Manager to join a high-volume operation. The right candidate is not simply someone who processes paperwork. We are looking for a proven finance professional who can structure profitable deals, maintain strong lender relationships, present products professionally, protect compliance, and deliver an efficient customer experience. Key Responsibilities Structure and finalize retail and lease transactions while maximizing profitability and maintaining lender compliance Present financing options, service contracts, GAP coverage, maintenance plans, and other protection products clearly and professionally Consistently improve finance gross, product penetration, approval rate, and revenue per vehicle retailed Submit deals to lenders, evaluate approvals, and select the best financing structure for the customer and dealership Maintain strong relationships with banks, credit unions, captive lenders, and other financial institutions Work with sales managers and sales consultants to structure challenging credit situations and maximize deal opportunities Review customer credit applications and financial documentation for accuracy and completeness Ensure all contracts, disclosures, menus, signatures, and supporting documents are completed correctly Track contracts in transit, funding delays, stipulations, chargebacks, cancellations, and lender issues Maintain accurate records and ensure deals are funded quickly Train sales consultants on finance processes, credit applications, product positioning, and setting up the finance introduction Monitor finance performance reports and take action based on product penetration, finance gross, lender mix, chargebacks, and funding timelines Maintain complete compliance with federal, state, lender, and dealership requirements Deliver a professional, transparent, and customer-focused finance experience Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is an experienced automotive finance professional who can combine profitability, compliance, organization, and customer service . You should be able to evaluate a deal, identify the best structure, work confidently with lenders, present products effectively, and move customers through the finance process without unnecessary delays. We are looking for someone who is: A strong producer — consistently generates competitive finance gross and product penetration Analytical — understands lender programs, finance reports, approval trends, chargebacks, and deal profitability A skilled presenter — able to explain finance and protection products clearly without creating unnecessary pressure Process-oriented — maintains organized paperwork, clean contracts, accurate documentation, and timely funding Compliance-focused — understands the importance of consistent menus, disclosures, privacy requirements, and dealership policies A problem-solver — able to structure difficult deals and find solutions for a wide range of credit profiles Customer-focused — creates a professional, efficient, and transparent buying experience Results-driven — focused on finance gross, product penetration, approvals, funding speed, and long-term performance Requirements Previous automotive finance management experience strongly preferred Strong understanding of dealership finance processes, lender submissions, contracting, and funding Experience working with prime, near-prime, and subprime lenders Strong knowledge of service contracts, GAP coverage, maintenance plans, and other finance products Ability to structure retail and lease transactions Strong communication, presentation, and closing skills Ability to analyze finance performance reports and take action based on the data Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Working knowledge of dealership compliance requirements Experience with dealership management systems and electronic contracting platforms Professional appearance and customer-first mindset Valid driver's license required Compensation Expected total compensation: $120,000-$200,000 per year , based on experience, production, commission, and bonus opportunity.
