Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Sr. Accounting Manager to lead core accounting operations and provide meaningful financial insight that supports business decisions in San Antonio, Texas. This position oversees close activities, financial reporting, trade and marketing spend analysis, and key treasury and fixed asset functions. The role also offers leadership responsibility for accounts payable and accounts receivable team members while partnering closely with cross-functional leaders across the organization.
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the monthly close cycle for the corporate accounting function, ensuring financial results are recorded accurately and delivered on schedule.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports and related analyses that help senior leadership evaluate performance and make informed decisions.
  • Manage account reconciliations, journal entry review, and general ledger activity to maintain reliable financial records.
  • Administer wholesaler-level promotional pricing programs, including calendar setup, approval review, and performance analysis to support commercial planning.
  • Partner with Sales leaders to monitor trade spending and translate financial data into practical reporting and business recommendations.
  • Provide the Marketing team with clear visibility into spending trends through detailed tracking, reporting, and variance analysis.
  • Serve as the primary lead for fixed asset accounting, including system oversight, depreciation activity, and reporting for capital investments.
  • Support treasury operations through wire processing, cash tracking, and bank reconciliations, while serving as a backup resource to the Controller when needed.
  • Supervise and develop Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable staff, fostering accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement within daily operations.
