Arti Home Loans is a new mortgage company created by the founders of ARTI Academics. The company is launching operations in Utah with a strategic plan to eventually expand into Nevada, Texas, and California. Arti Home Loans is built on a foundation of education, innovation, and industry leadership, with a mission to provide a modern, streamlined lending experience for clients and real estate professionals. Arti Academics, is the number one rated real estate school in the state of Utah offering free real estate agent licensing and continuing education.
Description of Role:
The Mortgage Lender will be a foundational hire for Arti Home Loans and will play a central role in launching and growing the organization. As a Producing Loan Manager (PLM), this individual will originate residential mortgage loans while helping build the systems, processes, and operational foundation of the company. The Mortgage Lender will work closely with the founders during the start-up phase, support expansion efforts, and collaborate with real estate professionals across Utah.
Performance Objectives:
Originate residential mortgage loans while delivering exceptional service to clients. Develop relationships with Arti Academics students and Brokers agents and to support their clients and generate loan production. Work closely with company founders to establish lending processes, workflows, and compliance standards. Assist with licensing, onboarding, and operational readiness as the company expands into additional states. Maintain accurate and timely communication with borrowers, agents, and internal team members. Ensure all loan files meet regulatory, underwriting, and investor requirements. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, client experience, and overall loan performance. Contribute to recruiting, training, and mentoring future loan officers as the organization grows.
Requirements:
Active Principal Lending Manager (PLM) license in Utah Prior mortgage lending experience required; leadership or PLM experience preferred. Strong understanding of mortgage products, underwriting guidelines, and compliance. Proficiency with loan origination systems and related technology platforms. Maintain regular office hours (9:00 AM to 5:00 PM) with availability for client needs outside standard hours. Ability to work in a fast‑paced, growth‑oriented environment. A bachelor's degree or similar credentials preferred.
Compensation & Benefits:
$60,000 base salary plus loan originator compensation plan 401(k) matching Paid Time Off (PTO)
