Facilitates car deal financing as an individual contributor, ensuring compliance with dealership policies and state regulations while upholding high standards of customer service and ethical practices. Finance Manager - Essential Duties Manages staffing and training to enhance sales program development and control. Monitors compliance with state regulations and the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Reviews deal structures to align with lender and dealership guidelines. Maintains confidentiality of customer information and fosters positive lender relationships. Analyzes sales reports and market data to develop effective sales strategies. Ensures accurate deal booking and oversees the preparation of credit applications. Collaborates with the Sales Department to restructure declined deals. Maintains and evaluates lender programs and relationships. Tracks department performance daily and identifies areas for improvement. Designs and places advertising for special finance programs. Maintains professional appearance and attends sales meetings.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; or 1-4 years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, financial reports, legal documents, and technical procedures. Capable of writing reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals, and effectively presenting information to managers, clients, and customers. Proficient in calculating discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, and applying basic algebra and geometry concepts. Ability to work with probability, statistical inference, and practical applications of fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex instructions, define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions. Capable of applying logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems. Valid State Sales License and Driver's License required.
