Our ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of healthcare payment operations (835 content, ETF and ACH transactions, and payer-specific payment posting requirements), bank reconciliation, healthcare compliance, and an overall vested interest in helping the Company meet its financial and operational goals.
Essential Responsibilities Include:
Engage team members in payment operations to facilitate all activities related to payment posting, information management (ETF and ACH transactions), credits and refunds processing, and reporting. Develop payment operations policies, procedures, and workflows related to revenue cycle functions in collaboration with the revenue cycle leadership team. Resolve escalated payment issues with payers for optimal management of A/R. Ensure compliance with CMS regulations and standards for third party payers. Identify payments/credits problems and implement reliable solutions for improvement; continually identifying opportunities to automate processes and improve net cash collections. Be solution oriented and able to handle payment problems related to patients and/or insurance. Provide and promote a culture of excellent customer service to internal and external clients. Build trust and collaboration amongst the team by enhancing employee engagement, addressing performance results and providing feedback and coaching. Develop, implement, and maintain the company's revenue cycle standard operating procedures (SOPs). Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned
Job Requirements Required Qualifications:
High School Graduate or GED equivalent required. At least five (5) years revenue cycle experience required with a track record of achieving KPIs At least two (2) years supervisory experience (leading a team) Strong knowledge of healthcare payment processing as well as an overall understanding of Medicare and other third-party payers Knowledge of healthcare compliance, including privacy and security regulations, confidentiality laws, PHI access and release of information Strong problem-solving skills and analytical capabilities High technical acumen and proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams) Ability to meet required deadlines Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
eClinicalWorks EHR experience Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or a related field. Background in a large multi-specialty group practice Granger Medical Clinic offers competitive wages and excellent benefits.
