What You'll Do:

Lead and Manage:

Direct all aspects of dealership accounting, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and the general ledger, with a strong focus on our manufacturer open account.

Team Development:

Train, supervise, and mentor our dedicated accounting staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

Financial Operations:

Manage daily banking and floor-plan activities with precision and efficiency.

Reporting & Compliance:

Prepare and submit timely and accurate monthly financial statements to the auto manufacturer, ensuring adherence to their standards and procedures.

Month-End Expertise:

Accurately calculate and accrue month-end commissions, and calculate and remit monthly sales and loaner taxes.

Reconciliation & Analysis:

Play a key role in the preparation of monthly reconciliation reports and provide insightful financial analysis.

Strategic Support:

Collaborate with management on various financial projects and initiatives.

Ethical Standards:

Champion ethical, legal, and regulatory compliance across all financial activities.

System Optimization:

Leverage your expertise in CDK DMS and manufacturer system to optimize financial reporting, analysis, and overall efficiency.

Office Leadership:

Supervise and mentor internal office support staff, contributing to a cohesive and productive workplace.

Financial Insight:

Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports to provide valuable insights to dealership leadership.

Record Integrity:

Maintain meticulous and up-to-date financial records.
