Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Finance Manager to oversee the financial operations of our used car dealership. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial planning, analysis, and reporting to support the dealership's growth and profitability. This role requires a strong understanding of automotive retail finance, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The Finance Manager will play a key role in ensuring sound financial practices, compliance, and operational efficiency. Responsibilities Oversee daily financial activities including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management specific to the used car dealership industry. Analyze sales trends, inventory costs, and profit margins to inform strategic decision-making. Manage accounts receivable and payable, ensuring timely processing and accuracy of financial transactions. Prepare financial reports for senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement. Collaborate with sales teams to develop financing options for customers and optimize revenue streams. Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal policies. Monitor dealership expenses and implement cost-control measures where necessary. Lead financial audits and coordinate with external auditors as needed. Provide guidance on credit policies, vehicle financing options, and warranty programs to support sales efforts. Supervise finance staff and foster a team-oriented environment focused on accuracy and efficiency. Experience Proven experience as a Finance Manager or similar role within the automotive or retail industry, preferably at a used car dealership. Strong knowledge of automotive financing processes, inventory management, and dealership operations. Demonstrated ability to analyze financial data and generate actionable insights. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency with accounting software and dealership management systems. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; relevant certifications are a plus.
