Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation, review, and approval of journal entries to maintain accurate general ledger activity.
- Perform detailed reconciliations for accounts receivable, accounts payable, and cash, ensuring alignment between PeopleSoft and connected systems each month.
- Create and run ad hoc PeopleSoft queries to gather financial data, investigate variances, and support reporting needs.
- Contribute to monthly and annual close cycles by coordinating accounting tasks, validating balances, and meeting reporting deadlines.
- Support the preparation of financial reports and audit-related schedules with a high degree of accuracy and timeliness.
- Monitor account activity and resolve discrepancies by partnering with internal stakeholders and reviewing system-generated information.
- Use Microsoft Excel to analyze accounting data, organize reconciliations, and present findings clearly for management review.
