Job Description

Own end-to-end margin strategy for Azure Foundry Tools, Azure AI Search and Azure. Translate product and engineering decisions into financial outcomes, building clear linkage between usage, efficiency levers, and P&L impact. Lead demand, cost, and capacity modeling (e.g., GPU, infra, utilization) to inform pricing, investment, and scaling decisions. Drive efficiency roadmap across model architecture, infra utilization, and operating points; quantify and track impact vs. targets. Partner cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Business teams to embed margin accountability into roadmap and prioritization. Influence pricing and monetization strategy, including rate setting, cost recovery, and trade-offs between growth and profitability. Deliver executive-ready insights (MBRs, reviews, ad hoc deep dives) with clear narratives on drivers, risks, and actions. Establish governance and operating cadence to track margin performance, ensure accountability, and accelerate decision-making. Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 2+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field OR Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 4+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field OR equivalent experience. Proficient written and verbal communication skills. Detailed oriented, with proven ability to summarize analysis to drive broader business context and insight. Comfortable handling ambiguity and uncertainty in a business that evolves at fast pace. Able to manage multiple work streams and prioritize as needed. Demonstrated ability to build strong partnerships, fostering collaboration and inclusivity across teams. Ability to synthesize complex analyses and deliver clear, actionable insights to senior leaders and business partners.
