Job Description
Own end-to-end planning, forecasting, and analysis of GitHub's 3P hosting and online infrastructure Track and drive insights on key 3P hosting trends and continue to evolve automation and analytical frameworks Identify 3P hosting & online infrastructure optimization levers across the GitHub AI and Non-AI portfolios to help drive sustained product margin improvement Partner cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Business teams to embed margin accountability into roadmap and prioritization Partner with product and engineering teams to plan and execute a cost-optimized long-range plan for GitHub infrastructure, including Capex planning, forecasting, and reporting Deliver executive-ready insights (MBRs, reviews, ad hoc deep dives) with clear narratives on drivers, risks, and actions Establish governance and operating cadence to track costs and margins, ensure accountability, and accelerate decision-making Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 2+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field OR Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 4+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field OR equivalent experience.
