Job Description
Position Overview Nordic Group of Companies is seeking a driven and analytical FP&A Analyst to join our finance team. This role is ideal for a professional with 2+ years of experience who is ready to take the next step into a more strategic, insight-driven position. You will play a key role in supporting financial planning, multi-entity performance analysis, and KPI development across the organization. Working closely with the CFO and finance leadership, you will help transform financial and operational data into actionable insights that drive business decisions. This is a high-visibility role offering meaningful ownership, cross-functional exposure, and the opportunity to leverage data analytics and AI tools in a modern finance environment. What You'll DoFinancial Planning & Analysis Support and enhance budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes Perform monthly variance analysis (actual vs. budget/forecast) and identify key drivers Analyze financial and operational results to provide actionable insights Partner with business leaders to understand performance and support decision-making Assist in developing financial models to support planning and scenario analysis Business Metrics & Performance Insights Build, maintain, and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) across business units Develop dashboards and reporting tools that provide clear visibility into performance Identify trends, risks, and opportunities through data analysis Present insights and recommendations to finance leadership Continuously improve how performance is measured and communicated Consolidation & Data Integrity Support multi-entity financial consolidations and ensure accuracy of underlying data Review intercompany activity and assist with reconciliations Partner with accounting teams to ensure consistency and reliability of financial inputs Help improve processes that support scalable and efficient FP&A reporting Data Analytics & Process Improvement Utilize Excel, Power BI, and AI tools to analyze and visualize data Automate recurring analysis and improve reporting efficiency Enhance data accessibility and usability across the organization Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and reduce manual effort What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field 2+ years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, accounting, or related role Strong Excel skills (financial modeling, data analysis, pivot tables) Experience working with financial statements and performance analysis Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail Ability to communicate insights clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders Self-starter who takes ownership and looks for ways to improve processes Preferred Qualifications Experience in a multi-entity or multi-business environment Exposure to Power BI or other data visualization tools Familiarity with budgeting and forecasting processes Understanding of GAAP Experience with ERP systems and large datasets Interest or experience in AI tools and automation in finance What You'll Gain Direct exposure to CFO-level strategy and decision-making Increased ownership over analysis, metrics, and business insights Hands-on experience in FP&A, forecasting, and performance management Opportunity to work with modern tools including data analytics and AI Clear path for career progression within finance Why Join Nordic Group of Companies?
