Note:

This is an in-person role at our office located on the east side of Madison. We are a faith-based ministry and require agreement with our Statement of Faith, Mission, and Vision and Statement of Principles. Position Summary Responsible for financial oversight of Finance Department to ensure financial accountability, accurately recording and reporting transactions in accordance with GAAP. The ideal candidate has high attention to detail and an understanding of restricted and unrestricted funds and a high level of integrity. We are a not-for-profit Christian, faith-based ministry and all employees must align with our statement of faith and principles. This is a part-time position averaging 20-26 hours per week. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• . Prepare month and year-end close documents, assuring that financial record systems are maintained in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. . Plan annual budget with the CEO and Program Directors. . Prepare annual cash flow projection. . Work closely with program directors to ensure that income and expenditures remain within budget. . Produce, analyze, and deliver accurate financial statements to the CEO and Board. Report on financial activity, trends and budget variances. . Oversee Annual Audit. . Process payroll on a biweekly basis. . Maintain PTO Records and troubleshoot any variances. . Maintain Care Net's fiduciary responsibility for control over its assets. Establish and/or maintain appropriate level of internal controls. Comply with local, state, and federal government financial reporting requirements. . Perform bookkeeping tasks including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, entering of donations into subledger, credit card expenses, and payroll. . Pay benefit vendors monthly and apply employee contributions to Simple IRA accounts, HSA accounts, and Direct Primary Care vendor. . Prepare financial schedules as needed for intercompany expenses, capital campaigns, insurance payouts, and other financial feasibility studies . Serve as financial liaison for Care Net and subsidiary which includes Eagle Harbor LLC. Become familiar with the financials of subsidiaries, and coordinate financials to provide accurate financial information for consolidated annual audit. Manage the CNEH Condos financials and Quickbooks account. Record rental income and any expenditures. Reimburse Care Net for any expenses incurred on behalf of CNEH.

• Other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) Degree in Accounting or finance related field, or equivalent professional experience. . Experience in non-profit accounting is a plus. . Familiarity with GAAP . Strong computer skills including advanced experience in excel. . Experience with QuickBooks and database software. . Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization. . Time and priority management skills . High level of integrity and the ability to keep information confidential . Self-motivated - Ability to work independently and personal accountability for the overall operations of the finances. . Must show evidence of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and demonstrate a strong Christian life and attend church on a regular basis. .
