This is not a traditional accounting position where you inherit an established set of processes and simply maintain the books. You will have the opportunity to create the accounting practice itself. You will establish the systems, processes, controls, reporting structures, and standards that will become the foundation of High Point Capital Group's accounting operations. For the right individual, this position represents an opportunity to grow from an accountant into a key member of the company's leadership team as the organization and accounting practice expand. The Opportunity We are looking for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, analytical, and excited by the opportunity to build something. The successful candidate will initially take ownership of High Point Capital Group's accounting operations while developing a scalable accounting infrastructure. This includes establishing appropriate accounting systems and workflows, creating financial reporting processes, developing internal controls, and ensuring the company has accurate and timely financial information to support decision-making. As the company grows, the role has the potential to expand significantly in scope and responsibility. The individual who successfully builds and leads this function will have the opportunity to grow with the business and potentially build and manage an accounting team and broader accounting practice.
