Job Description

This position is located in the Division of Complex Institution Supervision and Resolution (CISR), of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and provides support in the areas of efforts to prepare for resolution and to resolve insured depository institutions (IDIs) with total assets over $100 billion and nonbank financial companies whose failure could threaten the stability of the U.S. financial system.
Qualifications:
Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g. Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious spiritual; community; student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Additional qualifications information can be found here . CG-14: To qualify, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the grade 13 level or above in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience leading in the analysis of financial risks and controls, the development of written reports, and the communication of findings for financial institutions, bank holding companies, or other systemically important non-bank financial institutions in three or more of following areas: regulatory oversight, financial analysis, balance sheet management, enterprise risk and risk management program assessments, deposit insurance pricing, resolution planning, or stress testing.
