Job Description
Position Summary Titomic, a global leader in Cold Spray Additive Manufacturing and Titomic Kinetic Fusion™ technology, is seeking a strategic and results-driven Business Development Operations Lead for growth across aerospace, defense, transportation, oil and gas, industrial, and advanced manufacturing markets. We are seeking a Business Development Operations Manager with a strong finance background to bridge the gap between our revenue-generating teams and financial strategy. This role owns the operational backbone of business development — deal pipeline analysis, revenue forecasting, pricing and margin modeling, and cross-functional reporting — ensuring that growth initiatives are financially sound, well-tracked, and aligned with company objectives. This is an ideal role for a mid-career professional who combines financial acumen with a passion for scaling business operations. Key Responsibilities Pipeline & Revenue Operations — Own the BD operations infrastructure: CRM data integrity, pipeline reporting, and deal-stage governance. Financial Analysis & Modeling — Build and maintain financial models for deal evaluation, including ROI, margin analysis, LTV/CAC, and payback period calculations. Forecasting & Budgeting — Partner with Finance/FP&A to develop revenue forecasts, budget-vs-actual tracking, and quarterly business reviews. Deal Structuring Support — Support pricing strategy, contract structuring, and deal-desk approvals by evaluating financial terms and risk. Reporting & Dashboards — Design dashboards and KPI reports (win rates, sales velocity, unit economics) for leadership using Excel/BI tools. Process Improvement — Identify inefficiencies in the deal lifecycle and implement scalable processes, tools, and controls. Cross-Functional Collaboration — Serve as a liaison between Sales, Finance, Legal, and Executive teams to keep growth initiatives aligned and financially vetted. Vendor & Partnership Oversight — Track key partnerships, strategic accounts, and expansion opportunities against financial targets. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. 5-8 years of experience in business development operations, corporate finance, FP&A, investment banking, management consulting, or a related field. Demonstrated experience building financial models (DCF, unit economics, scenario/sensitivity analysis). Advanced Excel skills required; experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, or Looker) strongly preferred. Working knowledge of CRM platforms and how they integrate with financial systems. Strong understanding of P&L drivers, margin analysis, and revenue recognition principles. Excellent communication skills, with experience presenting financial insights to non-financial stakeholders and senior leadership. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. U.S. citizenship required without dual citizenship. This position requires a background check. This position may require drug testing. Must possess or be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance. Preferred Qualifications MBA or progress toward CFA/CPA credentials. Experience in a SaaS, technology, professional services, or high-growth startup environment. Prior experience supporting M&A due diligence, deal structuring, or contract negotiation. Familiarity with SQL or other data-querying tools for self-serve financial and pipeline analysis. Experience implementing or optimizing RevOps/BizOps processes and tooling. Core Competencies Financial Acumen — translates data into clear, decision-ready insights for revenue strategy. Analytical Rigor — comfortable owning complex models and defending assumptions under scrutiny. Operational Ownership — proactively identifies gaps and builds repeatable processes rather than one-off fixes. Cross-Functional Influence — earns trust across Sales, Finance, and Executive stakeholders without formal authority. Business Judgment — balances growth ambitions with financial discipline and risk awareness. What We Offer Competitive base salary plus annual performance bonus. Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage. 401(k) with company match. Clear growth path toward Management / Business Development or FP&A leadership tracks.
