Finance Specialist (Temporary)

$40-$48/hourDOE Duration:
12-18 Month Contract About the Opportunity Our client is seeking a Finance Specialist to support pricing, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role partners closely with Sales, Supply Chain, and Operations teams to manage customer pricing, evaluate cost changes, develop reporting, and provide financial insights that support business decisions. What You'll Be Doing Monitor inventory cost changes and assess impacts on customer pricing Maintain pricing reports, dashboards, and trend analyses Partner with Sales and Supply Chain teams to validate data and communicate cost changes Manage assigned pricing categories from quote through final invoice Prepare customer-facing pricing communications Perform financial modeling and scenario analysis Support forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis activities Identify process improvements and reporting efficiencies Maintain data accuracy and integrity across systems Deliver timely financial insights to key stakeholders What We're Looking For Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field 2+ years of finance, accounting, pricing, FP&A, or related experience Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, formulas) Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Excellent written and verbal communication skills High attention to detail and accuracy ERP experience (SAP, Oracle, Infor, or similar) Experience with financial planning tools such as Planful, Anaplan, Hyperion, Essbase, or similar platforms Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Position Details Livermore, CA $40-$48/hourDOE 12-18
