Job Description

at State of Delaware in Smyrna, Delaware, United States Job Description This position is with the Office of the Secretary - Administration supporting the Division for Aging and Adults with Physical Disabilities at Eleanore Cain Center (previously DHCI) and reports to the Fiscal Advisor II of the Patient Finance section. This position is needed to process insurance reimbursements and credentialling for healthcare contractors and MCO companies. This includes submitting & collection claims, billing, reconciling and resolving discrepancies. They also complete prior authorizations, close out resident cases, post payments in the Medical Records system, track revenue and complete required financial reports. JOB REQUIREMENTS
for Fiscal Associate II Applicants must have education, training and/or experience demonstrating competence in each of the following areas: Six months' experience in processing accounting, auditing or payroll transactions following applicable laws, rules, regulations, standards, policies and procedures. Six months' experience in determining compliance of financial transactions with required documentation, computations, codes, signatures, rules or regulations. Six months' experience in preparing financial reports such as combining and presenting financial data from multiple sources in an organized format.
