Summary:

The Financial Administration Specialist is responsible for managing vendor contracts' financial administration practices and procedures. This entry-level role ensures contract compliance, reviews vendor charges, and supports financial management of outsourcing projects, contributing to the Vendor Relationship Management team.

Responsibilities:

Review vendor charges, identify disparities, and resolve basic issues with service providers. Monitor contract budget performance, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions. Allocate costs across the enterprise and perform regular audits for contract compliance. Conduct cost benefit analyses to support business cases for vendor-supplied services. Collaborate with the Vendor Relationship Management team to develop and gain approval for business cases. Function under the general direction of senior-level professionals, supervisors, or managers.

Required Skills:

Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field, or equivalent work experience. 0 to 2 years of financial management experience, preferably within the IT area. Ability to work independently while following documented procedures and checklists. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
