Kennesaw, Georgia CoWorx Staffing Services is seeking a Finance Support Specialist - Collections Support to provide administrative and operational support to a dynamic Collections Department in the Kennesaw, GA area. In this role, you will be responsible for processing service requests, maintaining account records, managing specialized account functions, and supporting collections operations through accurate documentation and regulatory compliance. What You'll Do Process inbound and outbound service requests related to customer accounts while providing professional and timely support. Update, maintain, and verify customer account information within servicing systems to ensure accuracy and completeness. Assist with account maintenance activities, payment arrangements, and documentation updates. Research, investigate, and resolve account discrepancies and customer inquiries. Maintain accurate account records, servicing notes, and supporting documentation. Review and process payment extension requests in accordance with company policies and procedures. Verify customer eligibility, validate required documentation, and communicate approvals, denials, or requests for additional information. Review and process customer requests related to international travel or relocation while ensuring compliance with company guidelines. Process Servicemembers Civil Relief Act (SCRA) requests, validate military documentation, and apply eligible account protections and interest rate adjustments. Assist military customers with account servicing requests while maintaining compliance with federal regulations and company requirements. Process cease and desist notifications, update communication restrictions, and ensure collection activities comply with applicable regulations. Review bankruptcy filings and legal documentation, update account statuses, and coordinate activities with internal departments and legal representatives. Process customer refunds, overpayments, insurance refunds, and account adjustments accurately and efficiently. Review insurance claims and supporting documentation, process insurance proceeds and cancellations, and communicate with insurance providers as needed. Process warranty, GAP, service contract, and protection product cancellations, including associated refunds and account adjustments. Review settlement offers and payoff requests, validate settlement terms, and ensure timely and accurate processing. Maintain confidentiality of customer information and financial records. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company regulations, policies, and procedures. Audit documentation for completeness and accuracy and support departmental projects and continuous improvement initiatives.Desired Background/Skills:
High school diploma or GED required. Associate's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field preferred. Experience One to three years of experience in collections, customer service, loan servicing, finance, or administrative support preferred. Experience with bankruptcy administration, SCRA compliance, insurance processing, or account servicing is a plus. Previous experience in financial services, banking, consumer lending, or the powersports industry preferred. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and account servicing systems. Understanding of collections compliance requirements, SCRA regulations, and bankruptcy procedures preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion. Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment. Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods. Ability to communicate effectively via phone, email, and in-person interactions. Ability to occasionally lift up to 15 pounds. Demonstrated ability to process account updates and service requests accurately and timely. Commitment to maintaining compliance with regulatory and company requirements. Strong collaboration skills with internal departments and business stakeholders. Excellent customer service, problem-resolution, and relationship-management skills. Ability to support collections operations with professionalism, efficiency, and attention to detail.Other Information:
