Job Description

We are seeking a Financial Specialist Senior to support the financial operations of a diverse portfolio of venues, recreation facilities, and event-based operations. This role partners closely with finance leadership and operational teams to ensure accurate financial processes, compliance, and effective support of daily business activities and special events. Key Responsibilities Enter and maintain daily cash receipts and financial records. Assist with procurement activities and purchasing processes. Support accounts payable functions, including invoice processing and data entry. Coordinate financial activities related to events, programs, and venue operations. Partner with operations teams and external stakeholders to ensure all financial requirements are met before, during, and after events. Provide administrative and financial support to leadership as needed. Assist with additional projects and responsibilities assigned by finance management. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. Minimum of three years of experience supporting financial, accounting, or fiscal operations preferred. Experience working in a multi-departmental or event-driven environment is a plus Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial operations. Ability to effectively communicate with internal teams, leadership, vendors, and external partners. Excellent organizational, planning, and prioritization skills. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. Experience working within a government, municipal, nonprofit, or similarly regulated environment is beneficial but not required.
