This position is responsible for processing, reviewing, and reconciling financial transactions for assigned departments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with University policies, procedures, and applicable state and federal requirements. The position utilizes University financial systems, including SAP, Tableau, MS Excel, and other financial applications, to perform reconciliations, analyze financial data, prepare reports, and assist with resolving complex accounting and financial issues. This role works closely with the College Business Office, departmental personnel, and University partners to support financial reporting, monitor transactions, and provide guidance on financial processes and requirements. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong financial and analytical skills, sound judgment, attention to detail, strong proficiency in MS Excel, and a commitment to excellent customer service. This position also contributes to continuous process improvement, promotes compliance and accountability, and supports the College's mission through effective financial management and collaboration.
Skills / Knowledge
/ Abilities Windows, MS Office, FES, BW, SAP preferably within a university context: experience in business procedures and/or accounting functions; ability to successfully complete tasks within set deadlines; ability to communicate effectively, predisposition toward accuracy and attention to detail, a high level of professionalism and ability to work in a demanding job environment. Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? No Preferred Education/Experience Associate Degree + 5 years of experience. Accounting, Finance or Business Management preferred.
