Job Description

The Finance intern will support Finance Operations and Financial Planning as needs arise. Located in Boston and the surrounding communities, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute is a leader in life changing breakthroughs in cancer research and patient care. POSITION SUMMARY:
The Finance intern will support Finance Operations and Financial Planning as needs arise.
MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Education:
Ongoing education in accounting or finance is a plus, but not required.
Minimum Experience:
No job experience required. Understanding of financial statements and financial forecasting a plus.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide support to the following departments within Finance Operations and Financial Planning when needed, including ERP implementation, day-to-day functions, and special projects:
Finance Operations:
General Accounting Treasury Research Finance Payroll Special Funds Asset Management & Insurance Tax Financial Planning:
Forecasting & Modeling Budget & Financial Analysis Revenue & Reimbursement Decision Support Contracting Finance Systems
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
Experience with MS suite including excel functions like pivot tables, vlookups, hlookups. Ability to adapt to new technologies as needed. Strong verbal and written communication skills and customer service skills. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to exercise superior judgment, discretion, interpersonal skills.

For union positions, the pay range is determined by the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA). $33,300.00 - $44,400.00
