Charting a client's course begins by developing a personalized, comprehensive financial plan. We believe financial planning is at the core of everything we do to support and guide our clients. As a Financial Planning Specialist, you will have an opportunity to serve, support, and impact the lives of many clients. Responsibilities Client Interactions Ensure the appropriate financial planning activities are completed before and after each client meeting Provide support to Advisors by attending meetings with existing clients and ensuring the appropriate case preparation and post-meeting actions are taken Support the Advisor's presentation to clients with new or updated financial plans based on the client's unique and changing needs Financial Planning Work with the Director of Financial Planning to review financial documents provided by clients and discuss planning approach Leverage planning tools to create and update financial plans for prospects and clients Create supporting documents, aligned with the financial plan, as needed Meet with Advisors, as needed, prior to planning meetings with clients Collaboration and Development Stay current on financial planning trends, tools, and regulations and, when appropriate, share with the team. Contribute and lead special projects focused on marketing and client engagement Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree with a focus on business, finance, or related field Health and Life licensed or gained within 6 months of employment Required FINRA registrations (SIE and Series 7 within 3 months employment) Required Northwestern Mutual licensing as an Associate Wealth Management Advisor within 9 months of employment Certified Financial Planner designation or actively pursuing Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail, accuracy, and reliability Strong written and verbal communication Ability to work well with others Strong organizational and time management skills including prioritization and the ability to meet deadlines Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment High level and understanding of client confidentiality
Pay:
$60,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
