Job Description

The Finance Intern will serve in a supportive role within the organization, assisting with a variety of tasks related to the financial and operational functions of the business. This position offers hands-on experience across multiple departments and exposure to real-world finance processes. This role requires 15-20 hours per week during the school year with potential for full-time availability during breaks.
Work Location:
Candidates must be located at, and work from, our corporate office in Fargo, ND. Position is not eligible to be remote.
Responsibilities:
Supports multiple departments with various projects and initiatives. Assists with finance submittals, credit approvals, and finance document signing. Performs UCC lien searches and coordinate with banks and finance institutions to obtain blanket releases. Files and terminates UCC s as needed. Maintain and update spreadsheets tracking current contracts and leases to ensure all UCC filings are accurate up to date. Supports the sales team by assisting with customer relationships and coordination with finance departments. Assist with key projects within the Finance department. Works within and promotes the mission, vision, and values of BMC. Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Agricultural Business, or related field preferred Strong computer skills required, including experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within a team EOE/Vet/Disability #LI-Onsite
