Job Description
LaFace and McGovern, Inc. was established in 1977 and is considered the leader in the lighting and controls market in both Western Pennsylvania and West Virginia. L&M has been dedicated to serving the customer base within the lighting community for more than 49 years with offices in Canonsburg, PA; Altoona, PA; and Huntington, WV. L&M is seeking a very meticulous Financial Reporting Specialist in our Canonsburg, PA office. The position requires a candidate that will be financially accurate, thorough, have ample computer skills, handle monthly deadlines, and a professional demeanor. Proprietary manufacturers operating software training will be provided to the right candidate who will view this as a long-term career opportunity. - Verifying Manufacturer commission statements and payments for accuracy.
- Dispute resolutions with Manufacturers
- Import financial data/Sales data into monthly management spreadsheets
- Tracking Past Due Commissions
- Produce Monthly Sales Data Scorecards
- Create reports for monthly operations
- Create reports for monthly profitability
- Monitor Credit accounts
- Coordination of Invoices between software systems
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience in Financial Bookkeeping
- Experience in Quick Books
- Experience in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to meet strict deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer applications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Pay:
$50,000.00 - $58,000.00 per yearBenefits:
